About the role
The School Services School Speech Language Pathologist position is available for a local contract in Modesto, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in schools
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document progress and communicate with referring parties
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of speech and language development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using speech-language assessment tools
- Skilled in creating and implementing therapeutic interventions
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
