Join Cross Country Education as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher in Memphis, TN, and provide meaningful instruction, stability, and encouragement to help students thrive academically and personally. Available subject openings:

• 7th Grade: English Language Arts (ELA) and Science
• 4th Grade: Special Education

Deliver engaging instruction and maintain continuity of learning by following lesson plans and supporting student achievement in assigned classrooms. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment through effective classroom management and meaningful student engagement. Adapt instruction to meet the diverse academic and behavioral needs of students while maintaining a productive classroom environment. Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and ensure a smooth continuation of classroom routines.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid Tennessee Teaching License or Substitute Teaching License preferred
• 2+ years of classroom teaching experience preferred, with experience in urban or charter school settings a plus
