Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a School Services Special Education Teacher for a travel assignment in New Windsor, New York. The position is a contract, full‑time role (Specialty: Special Education Teacher; Discipline: School Services) starting ASAP for a duration of 37 weeks, with 35 hours per week (7‑hour shifts, day schedule). Responsibilities

Requirements
- Ability to push and pull students in wheelchairs, lift, bend, squat, turn at the knees, pivot, and grasp with both hands (to safely perform CPR/First Aid, behavior intervention, and lifting/carrying techniques), with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Special Education with appropriate NYS Teaching Certification; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field with graduate‑level coursework in Special Education and NYS Provisional Certification or Certificate of Qualification.
