AHS Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a travel assignment in Boulder, Colorado.

About the Role

Join PediaStaff, a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing, for a 10-week assignment in the Boulder Valley, CO area. This full-time, travel position supports special education students aged 18 to 21 at the Boulder Valley School District Transitions Center. The role focuses on teaching job readiness and independence skills both in the classroom and the community.

Responsibilities

• Teach job readiness and independence skills to 18–21-year-old special education students
• Manage a caseload of 12 students
• Write and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSP)
• Collect and track student data
• Implement IEP requirements in classroom and community settings
• Collaborate as a flexible team player

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of classroom experience
• Must hold or be in the process of obtaining a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
• Submit a copy of CDE license or COOL profile with your resume (resumes without this will not be reviewed)

Schedule

• Assignment duration: 10 weeks (8/17/2026 to 10/30/2026)
• Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week (35 hours paid, 2.5 hours unpaid lunch)
• Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

Pay

Hourly pay ranges from $52–$56, depending on experience.
