Pay
- Local Contract Pay: $62.91/hour (W2)
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to support students’ mobility, physical function, and participation in school activities.
- Assess students’ physical abilities, movement needs, and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to enhance students’ independence and safety.
- Assist students with mobility devices, positioning, and physical accommodations as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student goals and development.
- Monitor, document, and evaluate student progress throughout therapy services.
- Participate in assessments, meetings, and individualized education planning.
- Maintain compliance with school procedures, safety standards, and professional requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited physical therapy program
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in applicable state
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers
- Minimum of one (1) year related experience
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements)
