About the role
PediaStaff is seeking a Part-Time School Physical Therapist to support students in the Chicago, IL area. This is a local contract position with a flexible, one-day-per-week schedule (0.2 FTE) for the 2025-2026 school year, with the option to renew. The role involves working with elementary, middle, and high school students in resource and self-contained settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person physical therapy services to meet student minutes once per week
- Support students across elementary, middle, and high school age ranges
- Manage a caseload in resource and self-contained classroom environments
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy
- Active Illinois PT license
- Previous school experience or pediatric experience preferred (fieldwork counts)
- New graduates welcome with mentorship and training provided
Pay
$50-$60 per hour
Schedule
- 10 hours per week (8-10 hours total)
- 5-hour shifts, days
- One day per week, flexible scheduling
- Assignment dates: July 13, 2025 – May 29, 2027
