About the role

PediaStaff is seeking a School Physical Therapist to join a supportive team in the Maywood, Melrose Park, and Bellwood, IL area for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers both part-time (4 days/week) and full-time (5 days/week) options with 26–32.5 paid hours per week (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch).

Openings serve students from Kindergarten through age 22 with a caseload that includes autism, multiple disabilities, and cognitive disabilities. One homebound student requires in-home services. The position is split between PAEC Center (Maywood), Grant Elementary (Melrose Park), and Lincoln Elementary (Bellwood).

Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based physical therapy services to students from Kindergarten through age 22.
  • Support students with autism, multiple disabilities, and cognitive disabilities.
  • Deliver services in one student’s home as a homebound assignment.
  • Work across PAEC Center (Maywood), Grant Elementary (Melrose Park), and Lincoln Elementary (Bellwood).

Requirements

  • Illinois PT license.
  • School or pediatric experience preferred.

Pay

$50–$55 per hour.

Schedule

  • 41-week contract.
  • 26 hours per week (part-time, 4 days/week) or 32.5 hours per week (full-time, 5 days/week).
  • 6-hour shifts, days.
