Job Responsibilities

  • Assess functional needs and set appropriate goals for the student.
  • Reassess functional needs and adjust care plan as indicated to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Document evaluations and occupational therapy treatment goals and plans.
  • Utilize resources and materials in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Perform all duties promptly in a competent and caring manner.

Job Requirements

  • Active state license as an occupational therapist.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Six months of OT experience within the last five years.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Occupational Therapist with pediatric experience to work at an excellent school district in Overland Park, Kansas. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your occupational therapy skills while advancing your OT career. The job will entail providing therapy and rehabilitation services to students of the school district. You care about kids and are committed to empowering them to participate more fully in educational tasks when that ability is compromised by a health condition. You will work with the IEP team to create individualized plans of treatment that consist of appropriate therapeutic exercises, procedures, and techniques.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

40 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Active state license as an occupational therapist.
