PediaStaff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based opportunities. We're currently seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students in the Kansas City, KS area for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom and individualized support to students
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and instruction
- Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Help students stay engaged and participate in classroom activities
- Follow teacher and special education team direction
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff
- Work alongside teachers and school staff to support students throughout the school day
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children or students preferred
- Experience supporting students with special needs is a plus
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
- Must be comfortable working in an in-person school setting
Pay
$16-$18 per hour
Schedule
August 31, 2026 - May 27, 2027
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
37.5 paid hours per week (7.5 paid hours per day)
