School's Out Site Supervisor

About the role

The School's Out Site Supervisor plans, implements, and leads programs and experiences for children in small group settings at the YMCA of the Pines. This role ensures the general safety, development, growth, and skill achievement of the children in their group.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and safety of all children, staff, and volunteers in all program activities.
• Plan and participate in program delivery to ensure quality.
• Maintain accurate program records, including:
  • Reporting snack needs to kitchen staff each Friday and picking up snacks every Monday.
  • Obtaining rosters and mail from the YMCA’s main office twice a week.
  • Tracking daily attendance, rosters, time sheets, and incident reports.
• Respond immediately to discipline concerns, working toward positive resolutions.
• Ensure adequate supplies and resources are available for all children.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and in-service training as required by state regulations.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have customer service experience.
• Must have knowledge in the supervision and safety of children.
• Must possess leadership skills to encourage and motivate children.
• Must be able to identify age and grade-level characteristics of children.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• First Aid and CPR training required (training provided if necessary).
• Understanding of the relationship between the general public and the association.

Pay

USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 per hour.
