Performs all duties of a School Psychologist under the direct supervision of one or more TUSD School Psychologists. Responsibilities include psycho-educational evaluations, individual and group counseling, and staff consultations.

Requirements
- Must be part of an accredited University/College program in Psychology working towards a doctorate degree
- All pre-requisite work required by the School Psychology Program must be completed
- Completed a Psychology Externship and Practicum requirements
Requirements Prior To Start Date
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
- Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department
Qualifications
- Will complete School Psychology Master’s Degree program in May 2027, or earlier
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual – Spanish/English
Schedule
- 10-month work calendar
- 1.0 FTE – 8 hours per day
- Temporary position ending in June 2027
Benefits
- Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits
Pay
Salary is based on the district’s salary schedule for supervisory/professional roles. Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. Pay rates now include increases funded through a community-approved override, guaranteed through June 2031.
