School Psychologist Intern (2026-2027 SY)

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations for special education eligibility
• Teacher/staff consultation
• Individual and group counseling
• Intervention planning
• Agency consultation
• Assigned to two supervisors and work in each psychologist’s schools
• Opportunity to work with other ACPS psychologists in various school settings and programs
• Participate in regularly scheduled seminars with other interns and supervisors
• Meet weekly with individual supervisor to discuss cases, review written reports, discuss issues, and problem‑solve

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, completion of university requirements in a program of study leading to a Master’s or higher level degree in School Psychology.

Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.

• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
• Tuberculosis Skin Test
• Public Health Compliance – Must follow safety and health protocols

Pay

Set Stipend Pay at $22,000.00 total (Please discuss more with hiring supervisor)
