School Psychologist, Part Time
Qualifications
Master's Degree or Ed. Specialist in School Psychology
Full approval as a Michigan School Psychologist, will consider for internship year
Essential Duties
- Full-time Elementary School Psychologist at Pine Knob Elementary Schoo
- Building coordinator of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Facilitate building level Section 504 Evaluations and meetings
- Participate in building level special education evaluations under IDEA and Section 504 evaluations
- Participate in the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team process
- Take a lead role in functional behavioral analysis (FBA) and development of comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIP)
- Build crisis support team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with parents, educational staff and other professionals
- Facilitate the IEP process
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis
- Trained in, or willing to be trained in non-violent crisis intervention
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
Pay
Appropriate placement on the current Teacher's Master Agreement.
