School Psychologist - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services adhering to NASP and APA standards, conduct assessments, interpret results, and recommend interventions.
• Participate in IEP, Manifestation Determination, and other student support meetings.
• Complete evaluations and reports within required timelines.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and assist in developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
• Support student transitions and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to determine appropriate academic and behavioral supports.
• Offer counseling to students and parents, serve on various problem-solving teams, and promote inclusive practices such as RtI and PBIS.
• Assist in threat assessments, plan professional development, and provide educational resources.
• Work during designated times for assessments and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active School Psychologist License
• Active BLS/CPR certification
• Knowledge of ethical standards and school psychology practices
• Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with behavioral interventions and student support strategies
