Responsibilities
- Provide psychological services adhering to NASP and APA standards, conduct assessments, interpret results, and recommend interventions.
- Participate in IEP, Manifestation Determination, and other student support meetings.
- Complete evaluations and reports within required timelines.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and assist in developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Support student transitions and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to determine appropriate academic and behavioral supports.
- Offer counseling to students and parents, serve on various problem-solving teams, and promote inclusive practices such as RtI and PBIS.
- Assist in threat assessments, plan professional development, and provide educational resources.
- Work during designated times for assessments and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active School Psychologist License
- Active BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of ethical standards and school psychology practices
- Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with behavioral interventions and student support strategies
