What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Interpret assessment results to identify students' strengths and areas of need, informing educational planning and interventions.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students individually or in groups to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and support plans for students.
  • Participate in various district and school meetings (e.g., Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, MTSS meetings, manifestation determination meetings, etc.).
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to students, families, and school staff.
  • Conduct research and program evaluation to inform evidence-based practices and interventions within the school setting.
  • Stay current with laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to school psychology practice.
  • Participate in professional development activities and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge in school psychology.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Active state School Psychologist certification or licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state where you are applying.
  • NCSP Certification (not required).
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments to students in an educational setting preferred.
  • Someone who values collaboration and student-centered services.
