School Psychologist (2026-2027 School Year)
Job Summary
The School Psychologist promotes student success by providing assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaborative problem-solving services that support students' academic achievement, behavioral functioning, social-emotional well-being, and access to educational opportunities.
Essential Duties

Congduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and related services in accordance with federal, state, and district requirements.

Interpret assessment results and prepare written evaluation reports that provide educationally relevant recommendations.

Participate as a multidisciplinary team member in eligibility, IEP, manifestation determination, and other student support meetings.

Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and problem-solving processes.

Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff regarding student learning, behavior, social-emotional, and intervention strategies.

Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of evidence-based academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.

Collaborate with school personnel to promote positive school climate, student engagement, and safe learning environments.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, records, and reports in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements.

Provide professional development and technical assistance to school personnel on topics related to learning, behavior, and special education.

Remain current on best practices, legal requirements, and ethical standards within the field of school psychology.
Job Specifications

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required): Valid SC Certification as a School Psychologist II or III.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities): Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting, experience with MTSS, behavior intervention, and crisis response.
