Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to work alongside a collaborative school team and help K–12 students build greater mobility, confidence, and independence throughout the school year in Norwalk, CT. Position Overview Provide physical therapy support to K–12 students under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist with implementing individualized therapy plans and exercises designed to improve students’ mobility, strength, balance, and functional skills. Collaborate with physical therapists, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and participation in the school environment. Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress while following applicable professional and school-based standards. Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program Valid Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License School-based experience preferred; strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with K–12 students Why Join Cross Country Education?
