About the role

A Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for providing specialized care to students in a school setting. They collaborate with staff, families, and other therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and deliver interventions focused on gross motor and mobility concerns. The PT monitors and documents student progress, supporting developmental growth through tailored therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support within an educational environment
• Develop and implement student-specific treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and deliver interventions for mobility and motor concerns
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license; willingness to obtain state licensure
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred; new grads welcome
