School Physical Therapist - $46 per hour

About the role

This is a 13-week local contract position with a school district in La Mesa, California. The role involves developing and implementing educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results, assessing student needs, maintaining accurate records, and monitoring progress toward goals. You may collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, communicate with guardians, travel between school locations, and supervise assistants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
• Evaluate students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals
• Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
• May travel between school locations
• May supervise assistants

Requirements

• California Physical Therapist License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting preferred but not required

Pay

• $43 - $46 per hour
• $3,000 assignment bonus available (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details)
• Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals

• 13-week contract
• 40 hours per week
