About the role
Supplemental Health Care is working with a school district in Fort Worth, Texas to hire Physical Therapists. For more than 40 years, we've specialized in helping healthcare professionals find the assignments that best fit their current needs and long-term career goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
- Evaluate students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
- Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals
- Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
- May be asked to travel between school locations
- May be asked to supervise assistants
Requirements
- Texas Physical Therapist License
- American Heart Association BLS
- Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
Pay
- $47.75 - $51.45 per hour
- 44-week contracts
- $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
- Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Please speak with a recruiter for details. Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.
