About the role
School Office Assistants are needed at San Mateo-Foster City School District to support the administrative functions of Abbott, Audubon, Beresford, and George Hall Middle Schools.
Responsibilities
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and communication.
- Assist with student records management.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Provide general office support including answering phones and greeting visitors.
Requirements
- Typing certificate of 45wpm+ is required with application.
- District clerical testing required.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred.
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits

Pay
- $22.68 - $28.94 per hour.
Schedule
- Audubon: 3.5 hours per day (9am to 12:30pm), M,T,W,Th,F
- Beresford Elementary: 2.25 hours per day (11am to 1:25pm), M,T,W,Th,F
- George Hall Elementary School: 1 hour per day (12:30 pm-1:30 pm), M,T,W,Th,F
- Audubon candidates: Supplemental hours available for the Beresford Paraeducator I Student Supervision Aide and Para I Library Media Assistant positions.
