School of Social Work Part-time Lecturer Pool
About the role
The School of Social Work at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) seeks applicants for a part-time lecturer pool to teach various social work courses at both the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses, as well as in the online master’s program.
Responsibilities
- Teach bachelor’s and master’s level classes in micro practice, macro practice, human behavior in the social environment, research methods, and practicum seminar.
- Work with diverse populations and community partners.
- Teaching responsibilities may include courses such as Micro Practice, Macro Practice, Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Research Methods, Practicum Seminar, and Online Master’s Program courses.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE accredited program or doctoral degree in social work.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness.
- Two years’ post-master’s work experience.
- Experience working with diverse populations and community partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in research methods (for research methods courses).
- LCSW (for micro practice/practicum seminar).
- Five years’ experience in clinical social work (for micro practice/practicum seminar).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE accredited program or doctoral degree in social work.
- Minimum of two years’ post-master’s work experience.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness.
- Experience working with diverse populations and community partners.
Benefits
Salary is commensurate with experience. Lecturer A (Range 2) - $5,507 – $6,677; Lecturer B (Range 3) - $6,221 – $13,224; Lecturer C (Range 4) - $6,825 – $14,523; Lecturer D (Range 5) - $8,593 – $15,211. - Must reside in California.
