About the role
The Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy in the Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University (SDSU) invites applications for a full-time, multi-academic year temporary faculty, lecturer position for Spring 2027.
Responsibilities
- Teach in the areas of Financial Accounting, with secondary interests in Taxation.
- Assist with various service and co-curricular activities.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach in multiple disciplines, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and/or taxation.
- Demonstrated ability to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Record of scholarly publications.
Qualifications
The Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy is AACSB Accounting accredited with approximately 800 undergraduate students and 100 graduate students. The School’s academic programs are a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) – Accounting Major, Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA), and a combined 4+1 degree program (BMACC).
Skills
Applicants should have the ability to teach in multiple disciplines, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and/or taxation. They should also have the ability to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and have some record of scholarly publications.
