Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Streamwood, Illinois to hire a local contract Occupational Therapist.
About the Role
Help kids succeed as a School-Based Occupational Therapist. This role offers a great work-life balance with evenings, weekends, and holidays free.
Responsibilities
- Deliver OT services based on each student’s IEP
- Develop, implement, and track effective therapy plans
- Evaluate students, collect data, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Work across multiple grade levels (some travel between schools may be required)
- Potentially supervise OT assistants
Requirements
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with an Illinois license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Passion for working with kids and a creative, flexible approach
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Pay
- Hourly rate: $50.15 - $54.05 per hour
- $3,000 assignment bonus available (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details)
Schedule
- 13-week contract
- 15 hours per week
- 6-hour shifts, days
