School Occupational Therapist - $50-60 per hour
About the Role
PediaStaff is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to work in a private therapeutic day school for the SY 26-27 in the Park Ridge, IL area. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment of students' needs and abilities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized therapy plans to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and coordination
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs
- Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
- Current state license (or be eligible for same)
- Bilingual preferred, but monolingual accepted
Schedule
- 30 hours per week
- 8-hour days
- Start: August 24th, 2026
- End: June 4, 2027
