About the Role

PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated School Occupational Therapist to support students in one elementary school in the Glendale Heights, IL area for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a part-time local contract position offering $50–$60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• IL OT license
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred; fieldwork counts

Responsibilities

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs
• Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications
