About the Role

PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated School Occupational Therapist to support students in the Oswego, IL area. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Qualifications

  • Master's level or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • IL OT license
  • Previous experience (fieldwork counts) in pediatric and/or school based therapy
  • Prefer candidate strong in sensory knowledge, organized, yet adaptable
  • Ability to teach IEP/school based knowledge experience is preferred
  • Will be supervising and has experience in this area

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs
  • Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications

Job Details

  • Schedule: 2 programs located in the same building
  • Dates: 2026-2027 School Year
  • Hours: 1 program - 7:45-2:45 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break; 2nd program - 8:45-2:45 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
  • Service delivery of consult and direct, completing 3 year re-evals, annual reviews, working 1 on 1 and within small groups and team collaboration

Pay

  • $50-$60 per hour
