School Nurse - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student during the school day
• Monitor and manage medical needs, including:
• Seizure disorders (Diastat administration)
• Tracheostomy care
• G-tube feedings
• Type 1 diabetes (insulin administration, pump support)
• Administer medications per physician orders
• Follow individualized care plans (IEPs/medical plans)
• Maintain a safe and supportive school environment

Qualifications

• Active LPN - License Practical Nurse
• Pediatric, home health, or school nursing experience preferred (not required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
