About the role
We are seeking a licensed School Nurse to provide onsite healthcare services in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care such as medication administration, wound care, and emergency response
- Conduct health assessments and screenings
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans
- Educate students, families, and staff on health topics
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records
- Support students' mental and emotional well-being by working with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Current RN license in WA
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and record-keeping skills
