Position anticipated to run from August 24, 2026 through February 26, 2027.
$266.01 daily rate or higher, depending on total number of days
About the role
Provides nursing care to students and staff, administers medications, performs health screenings, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Administers medications as prescribed
- Performs health screenings and provides necessary interventions
- Assists with emergency response and crisis management
- Collaborates with school staff to promote student health and wellness
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements
- Holds appropriate MN School Nurse licensure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current Minnesota School Nurse Licensure
- Experience in a school setting preferred
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of pediatric health and safety
