About the role

A full-time school nurse at a 345-student independent Nursery-through-8th school in East Providence, Rhode Island. Reporting to the CFO/Assistant Head.

Responsibilities

• Student care under standing orders
• Clinical management of students with chronic conditions
• Screening and monitoring of students
• Immunization compliance
• Medication administration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Current RN license
• Experience in school nursing preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills

Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric health issues
• Proficiency in CPR and first aid
• Experience with electronic health records
