School Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable School Nurse to provide short-term coverage at our school in Pingree Grove, IL. The nurse will support student health needs, ensure compliance with state health regulations, and collaborate with staff and families to maintain a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct health services to students and staff.
• Administer medications and first aid as needed.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Monitor student health concerns and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Support school safety and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license (required).
• Prior experience in school or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and respond to emergencies.
