School Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver school health services, including routine care, special needs support, and emergency first aid.
• Maintain accurate student health records and document all services provided.
• Participate in educational efforts within the department and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Communicate effectively with management, parents/guardians, school staff, and healthcare personnel.
• Provide holistic care addressing physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs.
• Ensure compliance with departmental, school, state, federal, and HR policies and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of one year healthcare experience; pediatric and school setting experience preferred.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or must obtain within 5 years; RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years relevant experience preferred.

Part-time onsite position providing one-on-one support to a student, with a focus on clinical care and student health management.
