School Monitor Elementary (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)

Assist site staff in monitoring and controlling student behavior during daily activities in hallways, classrooms, cafeterias, and outdoors.

Requirements

• Speak, read, and write in English
• Experience working with youth

Prior to Start Date

• FBI fingerprint background check
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
• Department of School Safety Campus Monitor Training

Schedule

• Effective: 2026-2027 school year
• Location: Marshall Elementary School – 22nd St & Harrison Area
• FTE: 0.25 (2 hours per day)
• Work calendar: 9 months
• Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits

Pay

Posted rates include increases funded through a community-approved override guaranteed through June 2031. Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on the salary schedule, reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.
