School Custodian

About the role

Join the Greater Dayton School team as a full-time school custodian. Perform custodial and maintenance duties, during and after school hours, to provide a clean and safe environment for the school’s students.

Ideal candidates:

• Take genuine pride in creating a clean and orderly environment
• Are proactive, often addressing cleaning needs before being asked
• Have an eye for detail, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard
• Thrive in a team setting and willingly pitch in to help colleagues with larger projects, like summer furniture moves
• Are known for being reliable, positive, and collaborative team players

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical facilities of our world-class school
• Safely lift and move classroom furniture, such as teacher and student desks, onto carts for transport in and out of classrooms

Schedule

Monday – Friday with full-time schedule between 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Pay

Starts at $17–$19 per hour (based on experience)
