School Custodian

About the role

Are you an experienced janitor/custodian? Are you detailed and great with fixing general maintenance issues? If you answered YES, then consider joining our team as a School Custodian. The Center for Autism Research and Educational Services (CARES), located in Downingtown, PA is seeking a School Custodian to ensure the building is clean and safe for the students daily.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a clean and safe environment
• Perform daily maintenance duties as needed
• Work independently after the operating school hours
• Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, offices, and bathrooms daily

Qualifications

• Trade or High School Diploma / GED
• Training requires at least two years commercial housekeeping experience, preferably in a health care setting
• Knowledge of general maintenance activities is essential
• Must be 21 years of age
• Two years related experience
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred

Pay

$17.00 - $19.38/hr (based upon experience)

Schedule

Shift: 3pm - 11pm or 4pm - 12pm
