School Custodian

Come join the Nawa family! We are seeking a dependable Custodian / Janitor to join our team in the Newaygo area with an immediate start.

Schedule

• Full Time: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with occasional weekend availability for school event set-up/tear-down. During school breaks, alternate schedule.
• Part Time (Option 1): Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM with occasional weekend availability for school event set-up/tear-down. During school breaks, alternate first-shift schedule.
• Part Time (Option 2): Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with occasional weekend availability for school event set-up/tear-down. During school breaks, alternate first-shift schedule.

Pay

$14 per hour

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment
• Grounds maintenance
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check with no prior or pending charges
• Willing to submit fingerprints for working in a school
• 18 years of age or older with valid ID
• Ability to work efficiently while upholding company's quality standards
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members
• Reliable transportation
