About the role

Nawa Professional Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to join our team in the Kalkaska area. We have part-time and full-time opportunities in a school setting with an immediate start.

Schedule

Full Time Opportunity
Monday–Friday: 3:00pm–11:30pm
Occasional weekend hours may be required for school event setup and teardown.
Schedules may shift to first shift hours during school breaks.

Part-Time Openings
Monday through Friday: 4-hour block between 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM. You choose your start time, which will remain consistent each day.
Occasional weekend hours may be required for school event setup and teardown.
Schedules may shift to first shift hours during school breaks.

Pay

$15 per hour

Responsibilities

Vacuuming
Mopping
Dusting
Cleaning restrooms
Removing trash
Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment (training provided)
Other cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements

Able to successfully pass a background check and meet school clearance requirements, including fingerprinting
Authorized to work in the United States
Must be 18 years of age or older
Reliable and able to show up on time consistently
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning standards
Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
