Rush-Henrietta is seeking an extended substitute school counselor through November 20, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong knowledge of early-childhood development (academic and social-emotional) to support students.
• Implement interventions tailored to each child's individual needs.
• Build strong connections with students.
• Utilize culturally responsive practices.
• Coordinate school and community resources to promote student and family well-being.

Qualifications

• New York State Certification as a School Counselor (required).

• Ability to design and implement individualized interventions.
• Skill in forming strong student relationships.
• Proficiency in culturally responsive counseling practices.

Pay

Salary is competitive, based on experience and graduate study, in accordance with the Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
