Located just north of Pittsburgh, it is the largest suburban school district in Allegheny County with over 8,500 students.

Responsibilities

• Serves in a leadership role to coordinate and consult with the school community as it pertains to students' social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
• Assists the professional teaching staff and administration in developing sensitivity to and in identifying the particular needs of individual students.
• Collaborates with staff to build a caring and supportive climate within the school and advocates for all students.
• Creates and maintains good relationships with students, parents, other staff members and relevant agencies.

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• Pennsylvania School Counseling Certification K-12
• Current Clearances: Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Record Check, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
• Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Physical and TB Test.
