School Counselor
About the role
Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Dallas Christian Academy are seeking experienced School Counselors to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
- Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
- Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
- Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
- Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
- Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
- Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling or related field.
- Experience working with students desired.
- One of the following certifications: LMSW, LCSW, LPC-A, LPC, School Counselor Certification.

Starting from USD $27.00/Hr.
