Responsibilities

  • Develops and updates policies and procedures to ensure compliance with external laws and regulations.

  • Prepares annual and ad hoc reports to maintain programmatic authorization including completing documentation to obtain approval by states' programmatic approving agencies (e.g., boards, departments, commissions).
  • Evaluates planned or implemented changes in the standards and requirements of local, state, regional, and/or national approval agencies.
  • Works with internal stakeholders to obtain, compile, and maintain data required to complete external reports.
  • Produces high-quality work on short deadlines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a writing-intensive field (e.g., communication, English, history) from an accredited college/university or equivalent
  • Five (5) years of related experience in higher education compliance, accreditation, or quality assurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in a writing-intensive field (e.g., communication, English, history) from an accredited college/university
  • Knowledge of programmatic approval procedures in four or more jurisdictions
  • Prior training as a quality examiner (Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award preferred)
  • Bi-lingual (writing and speaking)

Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of authorization, accreditation, and professional licensure in higher education.
  • Technological competence with MS Office Suite, Salesforce and Smartsheet.

Pay

Grade: Professional 306 Pay Range: $62,100.00 - $93,200.00

Schedule

  • Full-time regular position (classified as regular and working 40 standard weekly hours)
  • Occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year). Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed.
