School Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - $40 per hour

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Wilson, North Carolina to hire Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for a local contract position.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement the therapy treatment program aligned to student goals
• Collect therapy data and monitor progress toward student goals
• Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
• Assigned schools may include various grade levels
• May be asked to travel between school locations

Requirements

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in North Carolina
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required

Pay

$37.40 – $40.30 per hour

• 27.5 hours per week
• 5-hour shifts, days
• 40-week contracts available
