Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - School - $40 per hour

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Wilson, North Carolina to hire a local contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

About the role

This is a 40-week, local contract position with a school district in Wilson, North Carolina. The role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement therapy treatment programs aligned with student goals, collect therapy data, and monitor progress. You will collaborate with the school's interdisciplinary team and student guardians. Assigned schools may include various grade levels, and you may be asked to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Implement the therapy treatment program aligned to student goals
• Collect therapy data and monitor progress toward student goals
• Work collaboratively and communicate with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
• Travel between school locations as needed

Requirements

• North Carolina COTA License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required

Pay

$37.40 - $40.30 per hour

Schedule

• 13-week contract, 40 weeks total
• 27 hours per week
• 5-hour shifts, days
