About the role
Responsible for operating school buses safely and efficiently to transport students to and from school.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all passengers are safely boarded and off the bus.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the bus to ensure safety.
- Adhere to strict adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding bus schedules and routes.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Passing score on a commercial driver’s physical exam.
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
- Must pass a background check.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of school bus operation and safety standards.
- Proficient in using vehicle maintenance tools.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
