About the role

As a First Student Part Time School Bus Driver for Normal, IL, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be responsible for an early morning before-school pickup and an after-school drop-off, ensuring students arrive safely at their destinations.

Responsibilities

• A split shift, including an early morning before-school pickup and an after-school drop-off
• A guaranteed shift of hours per school day, with additional hours available through trips and charters
• No experience as a bus driver is required; industry-leading training provided
• Child ride-along program

Requirements

• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
• At least 21 years old
• Must be able to pass DOT drug testing

Qualifications

• No college degree or high school diploma required
• Military experience is welcome
• Returning to the workforce or seeking a second job is encouraged
• Retirees are welcome to apply
