School Bus Driver
Qualifications
- A valid Illinois CDL driver's license
Essential Functions and Performance Responsibilities
- Adhere to an assigned schedule
- Arrive at pick-up and drop-off points in a timely manner
- Ensure the safety of all bus passengers
- Complete maintenance records and incident reports
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness inside the bus
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle prior to operation
- Navigate and report any required bus maintenance
- Attend transportation meetings and other meetings as appropriate
- Support and enforce policies as established by the school district
Job Description
As a school bus driver, you are responsible for bringing children to and from school, ensuring timely pick-up and safe drop-off in the process. In any area, driver's may provide transportation for events, including field trips, during and outside of school hours. While you are on the road, you are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for everyone inside the bus.

Starting Salary
$23.59/hour
