School Bus Driver Job Overview

As a Part Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You will start students' days with morning pickup before school and transport them safely back home in the afternoon. Additional hours for field trips and special event transportation may be available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class B (or higher) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements to qualify for sign-on bonuses.
• No experience is necessary to become a school bus driver!

Requirements

• Must hold a valid CDL Class B (or higher) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements to qualify for sign-on bonuses.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Must be looking for a part-time schedule and summers off.
• Must enjoy working with students.

Sign-On Bonuses

• New Driver Sign-On Bonus: $2,500
• Experienced Drivers Sign-on bonus up to $5,000
• Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training provided!
• $750.00 Bonus - if the CLP is completed presented within 7 days of completing the Virtual CLP class.
• $250.00 Bonus - if the CLP is presented within 14 days of completing the Virtual CLP class.
