School Based Therapist
About the role
The School Based Therapist position at Community Counseling Center offers a unique opportunity to provide therapy services directly within the school setting. This role plays a crucial part in preventing school expulsions by addressing mental health issues that may hinder students' educational success.
Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic services to youth in a school setting - individual, group, and crisis intervention.
- Care coordination with families, school staff, and internal teams.
- Completion of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and collaboration in treatment planning.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a Mental Health Field (MSW, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Etc.)
- Provisional Therapy License required (PLPC/LMSW). LCSW or LPC also eligible.
- Candidate must be eligible for licensure if not already obtained, including successful passing of relevant licensure testing such as NCE or LMSW Exam.
- Previous experience providing crisis intervention, case management, and/or therapy is preferred.
- Valid driver's license, proof of continuous auto insurance, and acceptable driving record as per agency policy.

Pay & Schedule
- Pay Range: $50,620.00 - 55,619.20/year dependent upon licensure and experience.
- Schedule Flexibility: Full-Time | Exempt
- Choose between:
- Four 10-hour days (approx. 7:30 AM-6:00 PM, weekdays only)
- Five 8-hour days (approx. 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, weekdays only)
Note: Employees choosing the 4-day schedule will provide family therapy at the office outside typical school hours to support a more comprehensive, integrated treatment model.
