About the role
Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Duncanville, Texas to hire a school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for a local contract position.
Qualifications
- Active Texas SLPA license (if required by the state)
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
- School experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings
- Implement individualized education plans developed and directed by the supervising SLP
- Provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet student needs
- Collect data and document student performance, reporting information in a timely manner
Pay
$39.60 - $42.65 per hour
Schedule
37 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. Duration: 13 weeks, with ASAP start.
